Spectra Logic Offers Buyer Protection Program

July 1, 2006 - Spectra Logic is committed to working with customers to make sure that their data is securely backed up, archived, and protected. That’s why they've launched the AIT Buyer Protection Program. The AIT Buyer Protection Program is a new Spectra Logic program that helps you get the most out of your AIT library in terms of protecting and preserving your data—and in protecting and preserving your technology investment.

Through the AIT Buyer Protection Program, customers can have peace of mind knowing their existing AIT solution will continue to have future enhancements to reliability, firmware upgrades, and support for high-capacity drive generations such as the forthcoming AIT-5, which Sony is to release in Q4 2006*. In addition, through an aggressive trade-in program, Spectra Logic will support your move to larger AIT libraries if you need more capacity and performance to keep up with data growth.

Some AIT customers have expressed an interest in a wider range of technologies, including LTO and disk—and again, Spectra Logic is glad to support those customers in their move toward environment diversification or transition. Spectra Logic offers a trade-in, trade-out program that helps you retain access to data stored on AIT while also realizing the full value of your investment in your AIT library and drives.
